Has anyone here had luck with quitting cigarettes while continuing to smoke cigars? I'd like to get off cigarettes by New Year's, but I don't know if that's actually going to happen.

Have you tried e-cigs? Like you, I want to quit cigarettes and still enjoy the occasional cigar and my next move is going to be e-cigs. I hope they work.

As long as I can have a good cigar on occasion, I don't feel the need to smoke cigarettes. I don't see why I need to spend all that money on something I can take or leave. I'd rather save it for a good Cuban to savor.

I agree, FleaBite. I'd rather have one cigar than ten cigarettes. Of course, I wouldn't say no to ten cigars either, or half a dozen.

Quit them ASAP! They won't do any good to you. I have quitted them a long ago and thank God for giving me the possibilty to try cigars.

Thank God I was blessed enough to start smoking cigars directly, without needing to quit cigarettes before.

Cigars and cigarettes at the same time? It's like enjoying chocolate of the highest quality with a poor wine.

I used to smoke at least a pack of cigarettes a day. Haven't had a cigarette since 1976. I started smoking cigars in 2004.
I only smoke about three cigars a month, but enjoy cigars VERY much.
