I don't notice it as much, but my wife is complaining that my sweaters from last year still have cigar smell in them. I have them dry cleaned and store them in a cedar chest. What else can I do? |

Throw your cigars away? Your clothing will always have a faint smell, even if thoroughly washed each day. Your wife should have got accustomed with your habit by this time |

I think Tony is right and you'll never completely get it out. Maybe you could try storing the sweaters with some dryer sheets folded into them. I doubt it will eliminate the odor, but it might help mask it a little more. |

Nope, my wife never complains about that - maybe because she's a vivd smoker herself? |

FleaBite, I found this button this morning and thought of you. Maybe you need to start wearing this around the house! It won't take the smell out of your clothes, but it kind of puts a positive spin on things. :D |

Winchester, the link takes me to a general site, and I can't see which button you're meaning. I get the drift, though. I'm also not sure my wife would want me to dismiss her by telling her to get used to it. I'm just going to try to keep bringing home chocolates and wine, too. |

You can throw them away or quit smoking.
In fact, there is nothing to be done, unfortunately. Though I myself don't notice the smell, my friends often tell me that there is a smell some of them can't stand. In that case, we go for a walk outdoors; such decision often saves our friendship. |
