We went to a really fine steak restaurant this weekend. A gentleman at a nearby table was just finishing up his steak as we arrived. We finished our meal and after-dinner coffee and he was still there, sipping his coffee and enjoying his cigar. He didn't know it, but I was really envying him. My wife wouldn't let me smoke in a restaurant. Yes, it's against the rules to smoke in restaurants, but he was oblivious. I kind of enjoyed it.

I remember well when we could light in restaurants. These days, too many people would say something about it. Restaurant managers around here certainly would have something to say.

I'm surprised someone would have the nerve to light up in a nice restaurant. Then again, I'm not. People can really get aggressive and inconsiderate these days.

What a happy person - enjoying his stay at a good restaurant, smoking his favorite cigar - what else could make a man happier than this? Sad it doesn't happen too often these days...

I enjoy a good cigar after a nice steak dinner. It's always after I leave the restaurant or have a nice cook-out on the grill at home. The good life is not far away if you have a fine Cuban cigar at hand.

He's a lucky person, what else could be said? I envy him, as well...
