New to the forum.  Loved Saint Luis Rey petite coronas, but understand no longer made, hoarding the few I have left.  I was wondering, all things being equal, are SLR coronas comprable?  Also any recommendations as to other petite coronas?

Also like to complement My Cuban Cigars.com, always happy with my purchases, although last box of Flor de Cano petites had a few plugged, worked my way through, it happens.

Hey jarhead,

Welcome aboard!
I would recommend that you try a Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion No. 4 - it's complex and with greatly balanced flavours of spiciness, fruits and a subtle hint of herbal notes. Strong and aromatic, not to mention its sweet fruity aftertaste.
I hope you like it.

x2 on the RyJ Exhibicion No. 4 - it's in my regular rotation.

The SLR Coronas should have a similar flavour profile to the Petit Coronas but I've not tried either, so I can't confirm.

Thanks for the recommendations, will try both.  Always difficult when you find something you like and can no longer obtain it.  For me a cigar is  the opportunity to sit quietly for awhile and let your mind wander, got to have the right cigar to enhance the experience.

You could try the Bolivar Petit Coronas, the H.Upmann Regalias and Petit Coronas, the Cohiba Siglo II - they are petit coronas too.

I hope you've chosen what's best for you, jarhead, and are now relaxing in your chair, enjoying one of the suggested cigars. Would you please let us know what was your choice, after all?
