I'm starting to get a nice little collection of cigar bands and Ive been thinking on what I can do for a project. I came across this: Directions are here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Cigar-Band-Table/
It's for a cigar band decoupage table. I'm not exactly the "crafty" type but this could be a good project. Anyone else have any good cigar band projects? |

That is a pretty cool table! Decoupage is neat because you can decoupage just about anything you want to: vases, bowls, or a flat canvas, for example. |

Hey, that's a great idea! I haven't been saving my cigar bands because I didn't know what I would do with them, but now I might start. |

Your cigar band decoupaged table top is way cool. Wouldn't it look great to do the same thing to a piece of thin plywood or similar type wood and insert at the back of a bookcase? You could still use the case for books, but peeking through would be all those wonderful colors from the cigar bands. |

I've started collecting cigar bands, even from ones I don't smoke. People give me a hand full once in awhile because they know I save them. Right now mine are in a huge glass jar, where I think they look cool. I love this table. |
