I go to auctions and have seen a few variant spellings on boxes that indicate the boxes sold cigars. Most recently, the word "Segars" comes to mind. What are some words, other than "cigars" that might appear as a label for a cigar box or holder? Foreign spellings are fine here. I want to learn some of the words.

"Cigares", "zigarre", "cigarro" or "puro"- these words came to my mind first...

This is a great vocabulary list. I've learned some new ones. It would be fun to do a craft project and include all the various spellings on the outside of the box.

I guess Chinese or Japanese versions of the word cigar can also appear on a box but it will be hard to type it here.
