For all the newbie cigar smokers here, what were some of the primary objections you might have had to overcome before deciding to take the plunge? For me, it was the idea that I might just plain look silly. I thought cigars for those who looked distinguished, which I do not. I finally learned regular guys like me can enjoy cigars, too.

I was afraid the heaviness of the smoke might be more potent than the strongest cigarettes, such as Chesterfield King. I was pleasantly surprised. It's an entirely different experience.

I just didn't like the smell of cigars in the beginning. I still am not crazy about some of the cigars other people smoke. It's different when I choose the brand.

I didn't really have an objection other than the expense involved. You also get what you pay for, so if I want quality, I need to accept that I'm going to have to shell out the bucks for quality.

Sure, people smoking cigars are usually very self-confident. It takes money and self-confidence to smoke cigars.

I thought cigars were very expensive, and I would need to spend a lot on them which was not true. I don't smoke too often, just when I'm in the mood, that's why I'm glad I started smoking them, after all.

It was way more expensive than my cigarette habit. But I've got used to it very soon.
