The salesman at a bookstore near my house gave me my first cigar about 20 years ago... But only after 10 years I started to smoke cigars on a regular basis. 8 years ago I smoked my first habana..

Wanna know how many boxes I have?.. About three boxes in my office' humi and 15 boxes are aging at home..

That's my story.

Ooops... I have just 6 boxes left and they are even not full... need to refill urgently

How long I've been smoking cigars? Well, not that long - 9 years - but had a chance to enjoy many excellent stogies. Definitely, I don't regret that I started

I started smoking stogies in high school 1980's (when our soccer team won an away game we would smoke them on the bus ride home) just swisher sweets and king edwards, etc.....

Later in life, 1990, I started smoking Montecristo (DR), A. Fuente (DR), Fonseca (DR), Bolivar (DR), Opus X and others....

In 2006 I had the pure pleasure of smoking a habana...the world hasn't been the same since...I love habana's!!!

I usually keep two boxes in the humi...mixed mainly trying out different ones. Eventually I will purchase a cabinet style and stock, but for now I'm just sampling different brands and sizes!!

Excellent question cigdogg!

14 years of smoking cigars and about 11 years being mad about Cubans...

Since my recent order has arrived just a week ago, 75 stogies added to my humi: Punch Punch, Fonseca Cadetes and petit corona sampler. Now the total is about 200 cigars... Hope to let them age a bit before smoking

i had my first cigar probly 3 years ago, usually nabbing one every so often from my dad. then i started to smoke w/ my friends, mainly swishers, black and milds, and a few non-cuban romeo y julietas. the last year and half i became a regular smoker. i have probly close to 70 cigars in my box (box of ashtons, some romeos, acids, baccarats, random others and 1 Opus X for a special occasion)

Started smoking good cigars in the early 1980's and Habana in 1985 on a business trip to Paris. Have smoke more Cohiba Robustos than anything else, around 10 boxes since the 1990s, as well as many others in much smaller quantities.

I have just started smoking real cigars, although I have enjoyed the slim panatella type for a few years. There is only one store near my town that sells cuban so I don't have much choice unless I buy online.

Started smoking cigarillos 31yrs ago. Been smoking cigars for about 12 years now but not regularly until about 4 years ago.

I usually keep <20 sticks in my humi, so don't age my smokes

Off an on for about 15 years mostly due to the fact I hadn't had a Cuban Puro!  Since my first Cohiba Robusto in Argentina 5 years ago I have been hooked ever since.  I enjoy the rich tradition of Cuban cigars and learning about Cuban Puros and the finer points of cigar smoking.

I started smoking NCs about 10 years ago, and Cubans maybe half way through. Never looked back! Not exactly sure my count of cigars/boxes though.

I started smoking 3 years ago through the influence of my friends. My first cigar was La Gloria Cubana. The aroma is mild and pleasant. Of course,it's very delicious. For new smokers, try it.

I started smoking cigars years ago, but for the longest time I only smoked the cheap ones you could get at a gas station. It's only been the past year or two that I've been educating myself about better cigars and trying different ones out.

My first smoke was 9 years ago. It was unforgettable moment for me. Montecristo was my first brand. At first, I was not familiar of the right way of smoking a Cuban cigar. Through the help of my friends, I learned to enjoy my first experience.

I've been smoking on and off for the past 10 years.

When I worked in Boston, I would frequent a nice little cigar bar with a co-worker as much as I could. The complement was usually a 10 or 20-year tawny port, or on special occasions a vintage.

I worked at resort in Western Pennsylvania that had a cigar bar for a couple years. We used to meet clients there from time to time, but I never took the time to light one since I was "on the clock."

One weekend when I wasn't working, I went back to the cigar bar for a whiskey tasting with a Master Distiller and had one while I was there.

Been smoking socially ever since.
