For my American friends, here is a recommendation for a non-cuban cigar that is made in the USA.

http://www.cigarinspector.com/nat-sherman/nat-sherman-westside-711-gotham

I've not tried the Westside 711 above but I have tried Nat Sherman's Metropolitan Maduro series and it's one of my favorite non-cubans (I have a box in my coolidor currently). Everyone who's tried it has had only good things to say about it.

Hello kwsaw63!
I'm glad you shared this news with us. And though I'm not from US, I'm happy when someone else is happy too.
However they should better smoke Cuban stogies as long as we are on a Cuban cigar forum
Nothing personal

Yeah, no cigars can replace Havanas.

Hey guys!
I tried one stick of the Westside 711 from Nat Sherman and liked it, but a Cuban cigar is always a Cuban, no matter what they say...

The cigar looks nice but it's too dark for me - I'm used to Cuban cigars which are mostly light colored.
I understand that's not the reason to ignore it - my guess is, I am too conservative, and couldn't quit smoking Cubans for anything else in the world.

Tonyc, many Cuban cigars have a dark wrapper, you probably smoke light Havanas.
