Recently my uncle shared with me a few cigars that had something on the sides of them that looked like mold. I could flick the greenish substance off with my fingernail. Now I'm wondering if something might be wrong with my uncle's humidor. Should I tell him, or just let him keep thinking my cigars were good ones? |

If your uncle is getting mold on his cigars, you may want to suggest to him that he dials down the humidity in his humidor. Not sure what the temperature is in his humidor, but he may also want to keep his humidor in a cooler place.

I agree. Not sure why you wouldn't tell him. Unless you're worried about offending him?
He clearly has a vested interest in his cigars, sharing a little knowledge with him that allows him to maintain quality seems like something he'd probably appreciate. |

Of course, you should! I'm sure he'll get concerned about the rest of his cigars rather than think that you are offended with his present. |

Tell him as soon as possible, otherwise, you won't be smoking your uncle's cigars anymore. |

Hasn't he smoked them all already? You should have immediately told him about the issue, it could save the rest of his cigars. |

You should tell him immediately, otherwise, he'll lose his cigars and the humidor, and you won't get a chance to have a few freebies soon. |

If he kept them for a long time, then, yes, your uncle's got problems. But you might as well ask him where he bought those cigars, it could be the merchant who sent him a bad batch. Then ask him the name of that vendor, we should all know it.
